June 2006: AGITEC, based in Montanay (near Lyon), delivers seventeen wine industry lateral vessel stirrers for a client of the company FABBRI.
These stirrers, installed in barrels of 15 m3, 30 m3 and 70 m3, are made entirely of polished 316 L stainless steel. They are of ultra-clean production and conform to the ATEX standards.
Their particularity is that they are equipped with level sensors. These sensors are placed on the sides of the barrel and stop the stirrer, meaning that it only functions in liquid, outside any explosive environment.
Its profiled, three-bladed propeller of the AX1 high pumping type generates a constant flow in the barrel and makes homogenous maintenance of the stored product possible, avoiding decantation of the suspended matter.
The machine is equipped with a sophisticated sealing system, with a mechanical seal lubricated by the product.
FABBRI, a company that designs and builds material for wine production and complete wine cellars is represented at the worldwide scale by distributors with sales points in every wine producing region
Through FABBRI’s savoir-faire with steam when applied to the wine industry, the company is also recognised as a key player on the oil mill and vinification markets, as well as at a regional level for the lavendar and perfume distilling industries, the “flash expansion” process using biological steam for grapes and fruit.
Frédéric Fabbri, the director of the company, chose AGITEC
“for its reactivity, and the availability of the company”.
